Christmastime at the Disney Store!

Well, November 1st means Christmas is coming! Off with Halloween, and in with the most profitable season of the year! Merry Christmas! (Sorry, but you won't find any turkey-related products). Of course Disney Japan couldn't even wait until Halloween finished to try and sell people Christmas Mickey and Minnie dolls. Now that it's all over, you can look forward to the next two months devoted completely to Christmas! So, what's hot on the market this month?

Ho-Ho-Ho Baymax! Christmas sweaters! Stocking stuffers!
First up is my favorite Christmas item  this Tsum Tsum advent calendar! (Also the most expensive advent calendar you'll ever buy, at 150 dollars. Cuteness doesn't come cheap, you know.) The back is a Christmas tree, and if you just can't wait to find out which character you're going to open today, you can peek at their butts doubling as Christmas ornaments. Aww.

Of course this also means there are special Christmas Tsum Tsums! You know, in case you didn't want to splurge for the whole calendar.

This is my favorite, as I'm a Stitch lover!

This month's new jewelry stand appears to be Belle's winter outfit from Beauty and Beast. How pretty!

And there are more than enough Christmas ornaments and keychains than you know what to do with! If only I had a real tree...all I have is a one foot Daiso tree (T_T)

UniBearsity bears also have their own Christmas clothes!

And adorable chocolates!

A new line of pearl-themed jewelry has debuted! A word of caution: pierced ears are actually quite rare in Japan, meaning a lot of earrings are made as clip-ons. Make sure to check which kind of earring backs before buying!

In other news, a new line of cuteness has debuted, strangely called Ufufy ("Fluffy" seems like a better choice...)! It takes beloved characters like Marie, Winnie the Pooh, and Daisy and makes them into egg-shaped cuteness rivaling that of Tsum Tsums.

Which came first, the duck or the egg? Who cares, it's adorable!
Don't think Japan hasn't forgotten their love of Baymax! There are some new products like these clear folders, rice ladle, and soup bowl/tea cup.

Over to the more up-scale merchandise are these purses decorated with Ariel and the doorknob from Alice in Wonderland.

Even more fluffy cuteness paired with sleeping Disney characters! Plus these cute pillows that look like someone sat on them – well, they look comfortable.

If you're a die-hard Tsum Tsum fan and liked that advent calendar, now you can get the whole character set in a box that looks just like the smart phone game! Of course that means you'll never want to take them out of the box...But you can pretend you're getting a high score.

New to the store are these key chains! I'm very tempted to buy this.

Don't worry, Christmas is just warming up! There will be even more adorable Christmas-themed products next month!
