6 Star Wars Disneybounds from Padme to Ahsoka

Since getting a Disneyland annual pass, my new favorite pastime has been Disneybounding: dressing up as your favorite Disney/Pixar/Star Wars/Marvel characters using everyday clothes (since adults aren't allowed to wear full costumes outside of special ticketed events). While I primarily focused on princesses and other standard Disney characters at first, I quickly found myself creating more and more Star Wars bounds. Here's a look at all of them so far.

Padme

Fell in love with this gorgeous top from Her Universe inspired by Padme's lake dress in Episode II.

Naboo symbol necklace is also courtesy of Her Universe. I paired it with a pink skirt and pink ears.

Kylo Ren

Kylo Ren is my favorite Star Wars character and current obsession, hence a second bound (check out the first one here)! I ended up wanting to do a sexier take when I found this hooded dress on Shein. I swapped the lace gloves (they were always falling down) with arm sleeves and made sure to wear beige shorts underneath, because the thigh slits are pretty high! Also added a giant red gem ring for some bling, because why not?

I already had the accessories (knowing it was worth the investment since I'd definitely be wearing the OG look more than once!): toy lightsaber (Amazon), lightsaber necklace (Etsy) and earrings (Hot Topic), and the most adorable Kylo Ren plush (eBay).

Queen Amidala

When Disney released these Queen Amidala ears, I knew I had to pair a look to go with them! I knew the key for this look, becoming a complicated costume, would have to be condensed to the basics: red and gold.

I paired a red dress I already had in my closet with a gold belt and a red shawl, plus my Naboo necklace. Voila!

 Princess Leia

For this non-Disney princess look I found a pretty white dress on Shein and purchased the belt on Amazon, put my hair in buns, and added my Yoda Tsum Tsum. Done and done!

Rey

For my Rey look I decided to get thrifty to make her criss-crossing robes. I went to a fabric store and found a tan-colored piece of discounted fabric I then cut into long strips and hand-stitched together. I reused my white dress for Leia for a feminine approach, spent some money on buying the belt from Amazon, and completed with some tan-colored arm sleeves. The most complicated piece about this was the hair!

 Ahsoka

This is one of my favorite Star Wars bounds as I love the level of detail! Ahsoka has a lot of different looks, so I based it off of the Ahsoka Disney+ series.

I condensed this look into a black tank with black shorts (you can do a skirt to make it girly or parachute pants to make it more screen-accurate), black arm sleeves, and black knee-high socks.

I put my hair in buns at the top (clip-ons make it a breeze!) and the rest of my hair in bubble braids, with blue and white hair extensions clipped in. Ahsoka earrings are FemmeDeBloom, nuiMo from Disney, and the biggest investment was the belt courtesy of Disney parks, which I got for half off at the employee discount store.

The final touch is the white makeup (I had fun photoshopping the below image where you can really see the white markings pop  of course you could always paint yourself orange instead if you're daring!).
